Translation and Apostille for New York Clients
We work with New York clients remotely: certified translations from a scan, apostilles for New York State documents, and shipping documents abroad.
What we do for New York clients
- Certified translation for USCIS and immigration court: no originals needed, since we work from a scan. From $25 for documents in Russian or Ukrainian; other languages are quoted separately.
- Apostille for a document issued in New York State: $160, state fee included. Shipping the finished document is extra.
- California apostille, if the document is from California: $120. You send it to us by mail.
- Shipping originals abroad: from $90.
About New York apostilles
A document issued or notarized in New York gets its apostille from New York, not from California. We handle that for you: you send the document to us, and we take care of the rest.
The timeline is mail time plus processing in the state itself. We give you an estimate before we start.
If your document was already prepared and notarized in New York, we can get the New York apostille and ship the document to the recipient abroad. We'll quote the total for your case.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to come to California?
No. We translate from a scan, and documents for an apostille or shipping are accepted by mail.
Can you notarize my signature remotely?
No. California requires you to appear in person before the notary, so we notarize signatures only at our Sacramento office. If you sign before a notary in New York, the document gets a New York apostille, which we can arrange for $160.
How long does the mail take?
Usually a few business days each way. The exact time depends on the carrier and the service you choose.
