Certified translation for USCIS, California apostille, notary in Sacramento, and document shipping abroad

Every translation comes with a signed translator's certification, as USCIS requires. We file apostilles in person with the California Secretary of State, notarize signatures at our Sacramento office, and ship originals to recipients abroad. Clients in any state can order translations, apostilles, and shipping.

The calculator uses our published prices and applies the multi-document discount right away.

Common questions

Quick answers to what people usually ask before they order.

Do you need the original documents?
For a translation, a scan or photo is enough, as long as the text is easy to read. For an apostille, we need the original document (for a birth or marriage certificate, the original certified copy), mailed to us or dropped off at our office. If your signature was notarized by another notary in California, mail us the signed and notarized original. For a notarized copy, the notary needs to see the original.
I live in another state. Can you help?
Yes. California apostilles and document shipping are available to clients in any state: you mail us the document. Translations are available in any state too, and we don't even need the originals: an electronic copy is enough. If your document was issued or notarized in another state, that state issues the apostille, and we can handle that for you. Notarization requires appearing in person, so we notarize signatures only at our Sacramento office.
Which documents can get a California apostille?
Documents issued in California or notarized by a California notary public. We also handle documents from other states: $160, state fee included.
What if my translation isn't accepted?
Before we certify a translation, we send you the draft to review. If the office you're filing with has its own formatting requirements, let us know in advance and we'll work out the details with you. If a translation is rejected because of our mistake, we'll redo it free of charge.
How do I pay?
Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, check, or money order, with no fee. PayPal and credit or debit cards add a 4% processing fee. You pay for a translation once we agree on the price, and large orders can be split into 2 payments, 50/50. Shipping is paid before the documents go out.
