Notary Public in Sacramento
We notarize signatures at our Sacramento office for $15 per signature, under California notary commission No. 2501705. If your document also needs scanning, copying, printing, or binding, that's extra, up to $15 per document.
What a notary public does in the U.S.
A U.S. notary public confirms who you are and that you signed the document. The notary doesn't draft the document or review what it says, and doesn't give legal advice. That's a big difference from how notaries work in Russia, Ukraine, and other former Soviet countries.
So the document has to be ready before you come in. The notary's job is to notarize your signature on it.
Our notary public, Denis Cherkasskikh, holds California commission No. 2501705.
What to bring
- The document you need to sign. Don't sign it ahead of time: you sign in front of the notary.
- A photo ID, such as a passport, a state driver's license, or a state ID card.
- If more than one person is signing, each signer needs their own ID.
If you're not in Sacramento
We notarize at our Sacramento office. California law requires you to appear in person before the notary, and a video call doesn't count as a personal appearance.
If you live elsewhere in California, you can sign in front of any notary near you and mail us the original. From there, we take care of the apostille and shipping.
We handle apostilles, certified translations, and document shipping for clients in any state. Documents come to us by mail, and for a translation a scan is enough.
Prices
