Military ID Booklet Translation

Military ID booklet translation, all page spreads. From $150, ready in 1-3 business days.

Why the price depends on the pages

A military ID booklet has many filled-in pages: service history, military registration, promotions in rank, medical board results. Agencies usually require all spreads to be translated, not a selection.

Send scans of every page, and we'll give you the exact price before work starts. The starting price of $150 covers a typical booklet.

Handwritten entries

Some entries in a military ID booklet are handwritten and hard to read. If a fragment can't be made out, we mark it as illegible rather than guess at what it says.

If you know for sure what an illegible spot says, we can add it in a translator's note so the translation is as accurate as possible.

If your document isn't in Russian or Ukrainian

The price on this page is for translations from Russian or Ukrainian into English. We also translate from other languages, most often Romanian (Moldovan), Belarusian, Armenian, Spanish, Turkish, and Azerbaijani, but we quote those separately: send us a scan, and we'll give you the price before we start.

Frequently asked questions

Does the translation need to be notarized?
Not for USCIS or immigration court. Both require a complete, accurate translation and a certification in which the translator states that the translation is accurate and that they are competent to translate the language. Neither calls for a notary. If an organization asks for notarization on top of that, we can have the translator's signature on the certification notarized.
Do you need the original document?
No. We work from a scan or a photo as long as the text is easy to read. We need the original only if the document has to get an apostille before it's translated.
How long does it take?
A military ID booklet translation usually takes 1-3 business days. If you're up against a deadline, tell us right away. We'll check our workload and give you a straight answer on whether we can make it.
