Internal Passport Translation

Internal passport translation with the translator's certification. $30 for 2 page spreads, ready in 1-2 business days.

Which pages we translate

Usually you need the spread with the photo and personal details. If you have to confirm your registered address, marital status, or children, the matching pages are translated too. The base price is $30 for 2 page spreads, and any other pages are priced based on the set you need.

Clients usually also translate the last spread with the excerpt from the law, because an internal passport often shows no expiration date.

Send scans of all filled-in pages, and we'll calculate the total.

Ukrainian passport in ID card format

Translating a Ukrainian passport issued as an ID card, both sides, is $40.

International passport

An international (travel) passport usually doesn't need a translation: its data is already printed in Latin letters. A translation is needed if the passport has visas, notes, or stamps you have to present.

If your document isn't in Russian or Ukrainian

The price on this page is for translations from Russian or Ukrainian into English. We also translate from other languages, most often Romanian (Moldovan), Belarusian, Armenian, Spanish, Turkish, and Azerbaijani, but we quote those separately: send us a scan, and we'll give you the price before we start.

Frequently asked questions

How many spreads should I translate?
It depends on what you need to prove. To confirm your identity, the photo spread and the last spread with the excerpt from the law are usually enough. To confirm a registered address or family members, you need the matching pages. Send us scans, and we'll tell you.
Does the translation need to be notarized?
Not for USCIS or immigration court. Both require a complete, accurate translation and a certification in which the translator states that the translation is accurate and that they are competent to translate the language. Neither calls for a notary. If an organization asks for notarization on top of that, we can have the translator's signature on the certification notarized.
Do you need the original document?
No. We work from a scan or a photo as long as the text is easy to read. We need the original only if the document has to get an apostille before it's translated.
How long does it take?
An internal passport translation usually takes 1-2 business days. If you're up against a deadline, tell us right away. We'll check our workload and give you a straight answer on whether we can make it.
